Healthy and aesthetic ventilation for KVV Duffel with Prihoda textile ducts
A pleasant and healthy indoor climate is essential, also in sports environments. In the canteen of football club KVV Duffel, a new ventilation system was recently installed by De Smedt HVAC, with the choice of Prihoda textile ducts. This solution combines technical performance with a sleek and modern design.
Comfort, health and design in one solution
The installed Prihoda textile ducts now ensure optimal air distribution in the canteen. By applying both a supply duct and an extract duct in the same space, a perfectly balanced air circulation is achieved. Fresh air is supplied in a targeted way, while polluted air is efficiently removed.
This results in :
- noticeably better air quality
- less CO₂ and unpleasant odours
- a high level of comfort without draughts or temperature fluctuations
In addition, the ventilation system operates more efficiently and in a more controlled manner, contributing to a sustainable and future oriented installation.
Pulsion and extraction air perfectly aligned
Combining supply and extract air within one space requires a well thought out approach. Thanks to the flexibility of textile ducts, the air distribution can be precisely adapted to the room and its use. Players, supporters and staff therefore enjoy a comfortable indoor climate, both during busy match days and quieter moments.
Perfectly round finish thanks to an integrated Helix
No compromises were made in terms of aesthetics. To keep the extract duct taut and dimensionally stable, a helix is integrated into the textile duct.
This internal reinforcement ensures that the duct retains its perfectly round shape, even under negative pressure. This prevents the risk of partial or complete collapse and keeps both functionality and visual appearance optimal.
