Bierhalle Melle
Bierhalle in Melle is not just any liquor store; it is the largest beverage discount store in Belgium. Offering an impressive range of beers, wines, spirits, and soft drinks, Bierhalle provides customers with an unparalleled selection at competitive prices. Given the size of the building and the large flow of customers, an extremely efficient climate control system was needed to ensure optimal temperature and air quality at all times.
Prihoda’s Innovative HVAC Solution with Fabric Ducts
For this project, we installed Prihoda fabric ducts that are perfectly suited to the functional needs of Bierhalle. Our air distribution systems are designed to maximize efficiency, and this is certainly the case here.
Key system specifications:
Color and design: The fabric ducts were made in RAL 2008 (bright orange), which perfectly matches the interior and branding of Bierhalle. This visual integration creates an aesthetically pleasing system that is also highly functional.
Plenum for optimal air distribution: A plenum was installed to ensure even airflow along the entire length of the ducts. This is crucial to achieving a consistent indoor climate across the expansive retail space.
Anti-deflection pockets: To ensure that the ducts maintain their shape and do not sag during use, special anti-deflection pockets were added. These ensure a stable and reliable airflow throughout.
Suspension system: The suspension consists of two parts: a cable with hooks and a rail. This provides a sturdy and flexible mounting system, making the ducts easy to install and maintain.
Material and pressure control: The fabric ducts are made from standard PMS fabric, which ensures durability and air quality. Different diameters were used to effectively manage air pressure, depending on the specific needs of various areas within the hall.
Textile nozzles and airflow: The ducts are equipped with 20 mm textile nozzles for precise air distribution. Additionally, half-round form rings were applied to help the ducts retain their semi-cylindrical shape, further optimizing airflow.
Thanks to this tailor-made solution, Bierhalle Melle benefits from efficient air distribution and a pleasant shopping environment for both customers and staff. Prihoda’s fabric ducts offer a future-proof solution for one of the largest retail projects in Belgium.
